Malaysia KLK Oleochemical Project
Overview
Located in Pasir Gudang Industrial Park, Johor, Malaysia. A veteran integrated oleochemical complex, long leveraging local palm feedstock resources. A landmark Southeast Asian overseas oleochemical production base.
Scale
320,000 tons/year palm oil and palm kernel oil processing. Equipped with high-pressure hydrolysis, fatty acid distillation, and hydrogenation lines. Produces fatty acids, fatty alcohols, refined glycerin, and soap noodles at scale.
Highlights
Mature international continuous high-pressure hydrolysis process. Full DCS centralized automation control. Feedstock adapted to palm-series oils. Proven tropical operating experience with complete environmental and utility systems.
Process Flow
Palm feedstock pretreatment → Continuous high-pressure hydrolysis → Oil-water separation → Crude fatty acid vacuum distillation → Optional catalytic hydrogenation → Finished product packaging; sweet water concentration and purification to industrial refined glycerin
Deliverables
Complete integrated full-chain oleochemical production complex including main process units, storage tank farms, cooling water, and wastewater treatment systems. Serves as a mature reference for overseas turnkey projects.
Client Value
Local palm resource deep processing, connecting upstream and downstream industry chains. Adapted for stable continuous production in tropical climates. Products supplied to global daily chemical, rubber/plastics, and pharmaceutical markets. Strong reference value for overseas projects.
